Step 1Paint a wreath black and allow to dry completely.
Step 2While your wreath is drying, trace the graduation cap template provided onto black cardboard. Cut this square out to create your graduation cap shape. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. Decorate the square with your name using foam glitter letters and add a tassel in place at the middle of the square using a paper fastener. You may wish to paint the fastener black and add your graduation year to your cap as well. Allow to dry if needed.
Step 3Use the photo templates provided to cut out a variety of photos for your wreath. Try to show a range of ages in your photos so you can see your growth! Cut out black cardboard shapes that are slightly bigger than your photos. Glue the photos in the centre of the cardboard so they have a black frame as shown. Allow to dry.
Step 4Place your graduation cap at the top of the wreath so the tassel hangs down into the middle. Arrange the photos around the wreath and once you are happy with the placement, glue everything in place. Allow to dry.
Step 5Cut different lengths of rainbow florist wire. Peel part of the backing paper from a glitter star sticker and place the end of a piece of wire onto the sticky surface. Press the backing paper back down so the star is now stuck to the wire. Repeat with a variety of sizes and colours of stars so you have different options for decorating.
Step 6Carefully push the free end of the wire pieces into the decofoam wreath along the top edge to add some glittery stars as shown.
Step 7Flip the wreath over. Bend a piece of wire into a horseshoe shape and push the ends deep into the flat back of the wreath. Once it is deep enough, bend the loop of the wire upwards to create a hanger.
Step 8Your Graduation Wreath is now ready to display!
