Step 1Download and print out the templates provided. Cut out the egg shapes. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
Step 2Choose two different colours of felt. Using a marker, trace around the full egg template onto one felt sheet and the half egg template onto the other. Cut both shapes out of the felt.
Step 3Place the half egg felt shape on top of the full egg felt shape so the edges are aligned along the bottom.
Step 4Choose a colour of embroidery thread that will stand out against your felt colours. Cut an 80cm length of thread and thread onto a sewing needle. Adult supervision is recommended when using sewing needles. Tie a double knot in the ends of the thread. Sew a blanket stitch around the full egg shape, stitching the felt pieces together. Tie a knot to secure and trim the excess thread.

Step 5Use a permanent marker to give your egg a cute face.
