Step 1Print out the template provided. We recommend you print on cover paper as this will provide a great surface for decorating and hanging your banner or bunting. You will also need a photo of the graduating student (if using).
Step 2Decorate your template using markers or pencils. You may also wish to add a touch of sparkle with some glitter glue. Allow to dry.
Step 3Cut out the template using the outer grey lines as a guide. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
Step 4To cut out the inner area and create a frame for a photo, gently fold the paper in half and use scissors to make a cut within the centre area. Slide the scissors into the slot and cut around the grey line to remove the centre area. Place the design side down and apply glue around the edge of the centre cut out. Turn the paper over and position your photo underneath. When you are happy with the positioning, press down to secure the photo in place.
CleverTip: Alternatively, students can draw a self-portrait into the centre space!
Step 5Mountain fold the top tab along the dotted line. Place a length of twine under the tab and use sticky tape to secure the tab to the back of the template. You can then tie the ends together to create a single banner with a hanger or repeat to attach multiple graduates together and create bunting.
Step 6Congratulations, your Graduation Banner or Bunting is now ready to hang and display all your wonderful graduates!
